Client Preparation and Aftercare

To make the most of your Infinity Sun Tan, these very important steps must be taken.

Preparation

*Shower

*Shaving and waxing should be done 8 hour prior to tanning.

*Exfoliate with Infinity Sun's non-abrasive polisher. Only use an abrasive exfoliant up to 3 days prior to your Infinity Sun session as this will create abrasions that will interfere with the evenness of the application.

*Do not wear lotion

*Do not wear deoderant

*Remove contact lenses and jewelry.

*Indulge in the Infinity Sun Prep Gel

*Wear loose, dark clothing and open toed sandals

Aftercare

*Wait at LEAST 12 hours before showering, bathing, swimming, moisturizing, or partaking in any strenuous activity that could cause sweating.

*Use a gel based, moisturizing soap (not bar soap) when showering or bathing. Gently pat the skin dry. No deoderant soaps or Dove soap/shower gel.

*Use only NEW razors to gently shave the skin.

*Use the Extend or Extend with Shimmer (preferably at night) to keep skin hydrated and make the tan last longer. Moisturize often, but avoid Curel brand lotions.

*Use the Infinity Sun aerosol to touch up the face, hands and feet between Infinity Sun sessions

*Avoid exfoliating skin or products that exfoliate the skin such as AHA, BHA, anti aging products as well as acne products, Retin-A, body hair bleach, depilatory hair and wax hair removers.

*Avoid spraying perfume/body sprays onto the tanned area of the skin.

*Avoid make-up removers and toners containing alcohol or witch hazel.

Love this shirt! Are you protecting your skin?

Marc Jacobs got these fabulous and famous celebrities to get naked for him… or should I say for his campaign against skin cancer!?!Victoria Beckham, who recently made some ads for Marc Jacobs, was the first to step forward to say you have to protect your skin but most importantly your kid’s skin.“Since we moved to California I have realized how important it is to practise safe sun for myself and to keep my three boys’ skin well protected as well. Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in Marc’s initiative.” –said Victoria.Of course that doesn’t include her infinite tanning sessions… but it should!! Anyway other naked celebrities on t-shirts are: Heidi Klum, Eva Mendes, Dita Von Teese, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, and Joss Stone.

Celebrity Fashion Secrets-Age defying sunless tanning

The sultry, glowing, and golden brown tans of the Victoria's Secret models are a goal of many women. They do look simply gorgeous. Like one would imagine a goddess on Olympus to appear. But did you know that each celebrity appearance takes a crew of experts to produce that perfect tan? And that dewy, radiant tan involves three hours or more of prep time? Not to mention the maintenance schedule. The sunless tan is a big celebrity fashion secret Hollywood would prefer to keep to itself. An army of stylists is deployed in Hollywood every year during the six-weeks between the Golden Globes to the Oscars. Preparing one starlet for her stroll down the red carpet is definitely a team effort. The first step in the sunless tanning process is usually a body-enhancing airbrush tan. While these tans lend the healthy glow many crave, they can also make the celebrity client look like they've spent more time at the gym than they actually have. Stylist Coco, who has worked with such celebrities as Eva Longoria, Jennifer Garner, Jenny McCarthy and Lara Flynn Boyle, recently revealed that, "If they haven't quite been to the gym, I can make it look as though they have. I give them an even glow and lightly etch in where the muscle is."Where can a celebrity (or a non-celebrity with some bucks and a lot of free time on her hands) go for the sunless tanning treatment?Infinity Sun in Beverly Hills is the sunless tanning place at the moment. They've teamed up with world-renowned celebrity stylist Jose Eber, and are taking Beverly Hills by storm. Celebrity clients include Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton, among others. But non-celebrity clients can also enjoy the luxurious Infinity Sun tanning experience. Applied with a proprietary spray system, the whole sunless tanning process takes approximately three minutes. The result is a natural-looking, golden brown glow. A tan that most would love to have!
